What an experience! The kids did fantastic! It took about 2 miles before Cael finally let go of my hand. Even when he was sitting in the stroller he held on tight and wouldn't let go!
We had about 0.5 miles to go, and Cael looks at me and says "We go into the mall now?". The kids were so good, we did go into the mall and let Cael ride the train and the carousel. We found out one of the "mystery tickets" for the amusement park at the Mall of America given to the kids at the race was worth 100 points! When each of Cael's rides are worth 3 points, that is a lot of carousel and train rides!!
It was great to be with the kids, and celebrate the day!
