Kiera's 6 month stats

Ok, so her 6 month appointment was about a month ago. We found at the appointment that she was 17 lb, and 27 inches! Definitely growing! We also found out at this appointment that Kiera had an ear infection, treated with amox, which she wasn't too much of a fan! 3 weeks after the initial visit, we did take Kiera back for a follow up to find out her ears are clear! YEAH!! Cael has also had his ears checked, and he has a little fluid in the right ear, but it wasn't infected... hopefully that remains!

Kiera is eating avocado, bananas, sweet potatoes, peaches, rice cereal right now, but I have the freezer stashed with green beans, peas, and pears to be started soon. She doesn't seem too picky yet, but she prefers to have the food mixed with rice cereal right now...I'm guess to dull the taste some.

Kiera is sitting independently, playing by herself, reading books with Cael, holding her own bottle, attempting to feed herself solids, and scooting some. She seems to be growing up so much faster than Cael did. I guess we just don't realize where the time is going!
