Cael's surgery got moved up to 9:30 Monday morning instead of 3:45 pm!! Thank goodness! I really was stressing about how we were going to keep this growing boy from eating all day!!! We will need to be there by 8am, which isn't much different than any other day we take him to daycare or have a regular appointment with the pediatrician. Everything should be over by 10am (they say it is only a 5 minute procedure)! We will have the rest of the day to relax at home!

That is fabulous news!!!! I have NO IDEA how a child or an adult could go that long w/o eating, unless they managed to sleep the whole day...or maybe I just have terrible will power! I pray the surgery goes well and that it is the end of these ear infections!
I think Cael deserves some pancakes, an omelet, bacon and 2 or three donuts after it is all over. We'll be thinking about the little guy
That is wonderful news! When Justin had his ear tube surgery, they told us they would call the week of the surgery to let us know exactly what time to be there because they do non-emergency surgeries in order of age, youngest to oldest, which just makes sense. It would be hard enough for an adult to not eat all day. There is no way you can keep a baby from eating all day.
