Phase 1 of kitchen project

Before we can hook up the dishwasher we need an outlet...this prompted us to get a new electrical box with a new meter for outside to accommodate the new appliances. (The fun stuff of the kitchen). With this electrical project, we needed to unhook the dryer to move it out of the way so the electricians could get back to the box to do what they have to do. Well, come to find out, we need to leave the dryer away from the box at least until the inspector comes since the dryer isn't supposed to be where it is hooked up to be. The inspector isn't coming until after the cabinets are in and the electrician comes back to do the final installation of a new outlet in the kitchen for the dishwasher. Since the weather has been spectacular during the day, the 3-season porch has become my drying zone! (We don't have a clothes line)

While the electricians were there, I had to be creative and come up with things to do without using electricity (I'm home for a day and I can't watch any TV or go on the internet). Some how I didn't have any trouble finding things to do. I went through newborn baby clothes and pulled out the neutral stuff (with the boy stuff ready just in case), got closer to finishing Cael's baby books (figured I better get those done before the next one arrives and I have another book to do), and I put together the bassinet. It is adorable, and will be perfect for the new addition!!!

Cael comes home almost every night and likes to throw toys in the bassinet, after he says "baby". Guess we should probably break him of this habit!
