Baptism, baptism everywhere...

The weekend after Easter, we headed south to Waukon. Our Godson, Karson Lee Null, was baptized on April 19, and we were fortunate enough to attend. Make a long story short, Karson was initially going to be baptized late December, and since Cael was just a couple short weeks away from being born, we weren't able to make it. By the grace of above, church was cancelled due to horrible weather. Karson's baptism was rescheduled for April 19! The Null family was finally able to meet Cael...yes...Cael is bigger than Karson, who is 2 months older than Cael!!

April 25-26 was Cael's weekend of celebration. Both of our families (except for the AZ Ryans) were able to make it to share in the special occasion of Cael's baptism. Cael wore a traditional Christening gown that was worn by Gramma Debbie, Daddy, Uncle Jordan, and Auntie Molly. He did really well, sleeping through most of church, and waking up just in time for the actual pouring of the water. We had a nice meal at our house after mass, thanks to Colleen and Eli for being here to put everything in the oven! Our families all stayed at the same hotel, so we were able to join them for breakfast in the morning. It was a fun weekend, and we were happy that all could come and share in the celebration with us.

Tomorrow night, daddy gets to pick Cael up from daycare and they get to spend the entire evening together while mommy goes to "Wine, Women, and Baseball"...should be fun! I work this Saturday, and have the following Monday off...just in time to take Cael in for his 4 month appointment, and shots!

Have a great week, everyone!
