I hope you all had a great Easter! Sorry it has been a long time...I know...the same sad story! Since I have started work, my evenings seem to go so quick. When we get Cael to bed, I just want to go to sleep myself...
Since we last wrote, Cael has been feeling much better. Jonathan, on the other hand, got Cael's little bug and was sick for about a week! Just before Easter, day care was closed, so we were lucky to have my mom come up and stay with us for a couple days to watch Cael while we were at work. Mom made a comment about not ever meeting a baby who doesn't really sleep?...hmmm...I have been trying to tell you that he doesn't nap very much!
We went to Waukon for Easter, which was great. We were able to see grandparents (even meet Great Grandma and Grandpa Strike), meet great aunts, great uncles, and 2nd cousins. It was a busy weekend, but fun! Cael did exceptionally well traveling, and he absolutely loved all the attention he got!
Cael has just finished his first full week of day care...Deb says he does really well all day, even takes a couple naps, which is good! He is usually exhausted when he comes home, so I know he is being kept busy watching all the other kids!
Now to get to the title...last weekend, I thought it would be fun to color my hair, so Erin and Molly did a fantastic job! I loved it! Well, the kit came with highlights, which we didn't have time to do over the weekend. I thought "how hard can it be" so I thought I would do them myself on Monday night...YIKES! My hair turned a shade of orange!! Frantically, I called my hairdresser with a "hair SOS" and she was able to squeeze me in on Wednesday night. I knew with Karson's baptism this weekend, and Cael's baptism next weekend I wasn't going to be able to let it grow out! It looks much better now...I never should have messed with a good thing! I loved the color on Saturday night and Sunday! I guess I shouldn't quite my day job to become a hairdresser!
We are looking forward to a fun weekend in Waukon! More to come after the weekend!

Finally an update! I love the pictures and the little grandpa hat. But I would have loved to see your orange hair picture too! ;) Have a good weekend.
I was going to tell you yesterday that I loved your hair. I didn't realize you had such hair trauma earlier in the week. Don't feel bad, I could never color my own hair either because I'm sure it would turn out green or purple!
