Beautiful Fall Weekend

What a beautiful weekend we had in Minnesota, both temperature-wise and fall colors! We tried to take advantage of this nice weekend...well, at least today we were able to! Saturday, Jenny was at a continuing education course for aquatic physical therapy (all day) while Jonathan was at home making a mess out of the kitchen while brewing his first batch of beer at the new house. It was probably a good thing Jenny was out of the house all day during this process!

Saturday night, we went to a physical therapy class reunion. It was fun to see a lot of classmates we haven't seen in a while!! Let's just say that Rock Band was a hit as was Jonathan's singing (rapping?) scoring 100% accuracy while singing a Beastie Boys song! Everyone had a good time...the baby was even getting into it as it was VERY active while it's daddy was belting out the tunes! (I will update with pictures if my classmates send a few of the pictures out.)

Sunday we got up and went to church, followed by a fantastic breakfast at Cap's...I think we are becoming regulars!! We came home, began the yard work! Don't let this picture fool you! Jonathan was on the roof while Jenny raked these piles!! Don't worry, though...Jenny left the bagging for Jonathan to do while Jenny went inside to take a little nap! We have only lost leaves to one tree, and it filled 9 bags!!





To enjoy the weather a little more, we went for a walk by Lake Nokomis, along with everyone else who lives in this area! We hope everyone else was able to get out to enjoy the beautiful fall weekend!!
