Lutsen skiing

Jonathan and I were able to introduce more family to the wonderful adventures of the North Shore of Minnesota!  Jarod and Molly joined us in a skiing adventure to Lutsen.  (Thanks mom and dad for watching the kids while we were gone!)  On the way up, we stopped at the frozen Gooseberry Falls!
Lake Superior is really cold...Molly and Jarod now believe us!

We were nervous about the skiing conditions, but the north shore didn't disappoint as they got 5 inches of snow the night before we went skiing!!

The weather was perfect (not too cold), too!  We had a great time, with no major injuries!  (I have to admit that I had the "biggest" injury...during the last run of the trip (end of the 2nd day), my skis caught snow boulders when I was stopping, which toppled me over and into the corner of a little building...my arm caught me!)  Good news...no broken bones this time!!  (Last time the 4 of us went skiing together Jonathan broke his thumb).  We played it safe and all wore helmets!!
We definitely plan to go again, next time...the Rockies (Colorado or Montana...doesn't matter!)

Here are a few favorite pictures and the scenery!
Sunset over Lake Superior

Yes, I snapped the picture as Jarod (right) and Molly (middle) were falling!  Oops...sorry guys!
