Camping with the Orani's

We met up with Colleen, Eli, and Samuel at Kamp Dels (near Faribault MN) to go camping for a weekend. People thought we were crazy to tent camp with 2 young kids...it was a blast! Ok, I will be honest and say that the first night was a challenge...partly because the temperature was in the 50s.

The food was delicious and fun!


There was a waterpark, that was NOT HEATED...the boys didn't care! Cael and Samuel loved to chase each other around, and splash. Kiera even enjoyed it, but I wasn't about to sit in it!

There was a petting zoo we had to say good morning, and good night to the animals...multiple times!

Tent fun...

The kids had fun being occupied while we packed up the car...the soccer ball was a huge hit on the trip!

Did I mention we made it the whole weekend without one spray of bug spray, and only 1 bug bite for me, Cael and Kiera, and Jonathan didn't get any...it was quite amazing being right across the from a lake!! Great weekend! Great trip!! Can't wait to go again next year!
