I know...surprised I am back, huh? I know...I have been horrible updating this summer! Just when I think we aren't going to have a very busy summer, the weekends fill up, weekday evenings are busy, and I will be honest...I am just plain exhausted at the end of the days to update the blog!! I promise I will try to do better from here on out!! (And you can hold me to it!!)
Update on both the kiddos...
Cael is a active 2 1/2 year old, wanting to be more independent than the day before. Constantly "I do it by myself; no, mommy, I can do it; don't help me mommy", etc. He did have a bout of sickness a couple weeks ago, with a fever of 103.5 when I picked him up at daycare, and it fluctuating between 102-103 for about 36 hours before the careline told me to bring him in. He was found to have croup. It took about a week after before he appeared back to himself again. (That was a LONG week!)
Kiera is crawling everywhere, and she is getting really quick! She is drawn towards everything she is not supposed to get into (ie cords, outlets, etc). We do have cords put away and outlets covered, so don't worry! We had her 9 month check up last week (I know...already?) and she is 21 lb, 28 inches, and healthy! When Cael was sick, she did have a little cough but somehow she missed the fever!
