Finally...an update!

Sorry I haven't been very good lately...no real excuse, just haven't been around much! Here is what we have been up to!

March 20-21 we went to Waukon so I could take part in the first of Molly's wedding showers; this one was on Jarod's side. Cael and Flynn had fun playing together and Molly got a lot of nice things!!


March 27-28 we went to Cedar Falls so I could take part in Molly's bachelorette party! I don't have any pictures since I left my camera with Jonathan to use with Cael and Flynn...well, he didn't take any pictures. The evening was very fun...be sure to ask Debbie about the Saki Bomb she took at dinner! We were at a casino, and somehow Molly and Kris ended up on stage dancing with Elvis...hmmm....

April 2-4...Easter weekend! Erin and I along with Jonathan's aunt Sandie threw Molly a shower for the Rixen side. It was a great day, with a lot of friends and family to share in the celebration!

We weren't sure if Cael would understand the whole Easter egg thing and pick up the eggs and put them in the basket, but he seemed as though he had been practicing. It may have helped that he watched Jonathan place the eggs in the yard...

Cael seems to be enjoying his time in Waukon this week...yeah, we left him there for the week after Easter. Daycare took the week off for spring break and we couldn't take the whole week off. We miss him, but we know he is having a lot of fun with Gramma and Grampa Rixen. We are looking forward to going to Des Moines this weekend to celebrate with Hannah her first Communion, and also to reunite with Cael (Grandma and Grandpa Ryan will be bringing Cael with them).

I have not done much off my list of things to get done, however...I have sat on the couch and watched TV with some ice cream...something I don't get to do when Cael is here! This update was #1 on my list of things to do, so I guess I have started it now. Hope everyone is doing well!

Congratulations to Chris and Kealy Dahlstrom on their baby boy, Brayden Joseph born 4/6/10 and 7 lb 15 oz!!!! Can't wait to meet the little guy!
