Kiera has a way with getting across what she wants (should I be frightened?)...and she doesn't talk yet! She is quite animated!

Cheering on daddy!

Jonathan ran a 5K in the worst possible weather...95 degrees (at 7:30 am) and 98% humidity! Cael had a lot of fun cheering on the runners, especially Jonathan when he came by...it would have been a tough run for anybody!!

Cael would have ran with them if it wasn't so hot!! He was ready!

Summer in full swing

You know it is summer when the sweet corn is in the house...and Cael still loves it!!



Notice how long Cael's hair is eating the sweet corn. It is time for a summer hair cut! Yes, I did my best to cut his hair (followed with cutting Jonathan's hair). Normally at the place where we cut his hair, they give him a sucker afterwards. That was the only way I was able to keep him sitting still long enough for my amateur clipping skills. Not too bad, but certainly not perfect!

Cousin visits!

We have been lucky to have some visits by Hannah and Laurelei in the past few weeks! Hannah joined us at the wading pool, which has been a summer favorite!


Laurelei and Cyndy were in town for a wedding, so they stopped by to visit for the morning! It was great to see them, and finally show them where we live! Hard to get to MN when you live in AZ! (Serious about fruit snacks!)

Thomas Bed

My cousin Dawn gave us a bunch of clothes and stuff for Cael, now that their son Ryan has outgrown all of that. Cael's favorite thing they gave him...you guessed it!

Kiera

She has been moving nonstop, and tries to keep up with Cael. It is fun to watch how the two of them interact...for the most part pretty well. Let's just say that Kiera isn't big enough to know that when Cael takes a toy from her, she can say something about it. (Challenging times ahead!)

Like Cael, she loves to swing!


She helps us mow the lawn! (And will try to eat it too!)

Loves going on bike rides with Jonathan and biking on his own! He loves to wear his helmet, and proud mommy moment when Cael requests to get his helmet so he can ride his bike...what a good kid!



Jonathan and Cael usually go biking to a park...Cael loves to swing, and climb the slides!
